Daniel Chang (SPP ’16, USA)
Daniel is studying at CEU this year thanks to the supporters of the Alumni Scholarship, next|generation.
In his own words:
I graduated from Coe College in 2012 with BAs in Economics and Asia Studies. There I studied conflict resolution in Ireland, geopolitics in South Korea, and nature preservation in Costa Rica.
The promotion of strong international relations is something I wholeheartedly support. In 2013 I joined the Peace Corps, an international development organization of the U.S. Government. I was assigned to Moldova where I spent the last two years living and working in the city of Balti, focusing on entrepreneurship and civic engagement among Moldovan youth by working with local NGOs and government agencies.
I continue to look for meaningful ways to make a difference, at home or abroad. CEU will prepare me for future adventures by providing me with a deeper understanding of international public policy.
CEU has some of the most welcoming and supportive alumni I’ve ever met. I’m very grateful for the opportunity they have provided me and look forward to when I can begin to pay it forward to future students.
