A native of Novosibirsk, Russia, after CEU Anna earned her PhD in History and Civilization (2011) and a Master of Research (2004) from the European University Institute (EUI). Her professional activities combine policy-oriented research and teaching.
Anna has authored/co-authored various publications, migration reports, policy briefs, explanatory notes, fact sheets, etc. on various migration issues in the EaP region, Central Asia, Russia, and the EU. Currently, she is employed as a Project Officer at ICMPD, responsible for the Knowledge base on migration in the Prague Process region.
In addition to serving as CEU alumni coordinator for Italy, since September 2014 she is also CEU alumni chapter leader in Austria.
