Angelita is studying at CEU this year, thanks to the supporters of the CEU Alumni Scholarship.
In her own words:
I'm a staunch advocate for good governance, with more than four years combined development and government experience. After graduating with a Psychology degree, in 2012, I was named one of Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines, a humbling and patriotic experience.
After working with NGOs advocating for good governance, I eventually moved to government, managing an organizational development program at the Department of Budget and Management.
I love working with like-minded people and am proudest of working with other Millennials in government to encourage youth to join civil services. I'm also one of the Global Shapers of the Manila Hub, an initiative of the World Economic Forum, and have volunteered for organizations like Transparency International.
My dream is to be a technocrat and, ultimately, to serve in an influential government position where I can be a force of good. Finishing my MPA degree is an integral part of this dream. My heartfelt gratitude to the generous CEU alumni for investing in my future and my dream for my country.
