Cristina Turcu obtained her MA from the CEU Department of Political Science in 2008. In 2018 she graduated from the IREX Community Solutions Program, while consecutively completed George Mason University’s Program Leadership course.
Cristina has more than ten years’ experience with nonprofits, including work with the Médecins du Monde Mission to Moldova; the Legal Resources Centre from Moldova and the United Nations Development Program. Currently she is the Aide for the EU High Level Adviser to the Government of Moldova on Confidence Building Measures.
Why does she volunteer for CEU?
A longtime alumni volunteer, Cristina served as CEU’s Moldovan Alumni Chapter leader for more than seven years. After a brief interval, she has returned to the role to enhance the chapter’s relations with its alma mater, and as such to “give back” to CEU.
