Alumnus Musolin Named Vice Rector of Russian Forest Sciences University

Professor and CEU alumnus Dmitry L. Musolin (ENVS ’98) was recently appointed Vice-Rector for Research and International Activities of the Saint Petersburg State Forest Technical University, Russia.

Dmitry will be responsible for development of research, training PhD students and the whole spectrum of international activities of the University. Saint Petersburg State Forest Technical University is the oldest in Russia and one the world’s first forest sciences university.

Dmitry graduated from CEU in 1998 with an MS.c from the Department of Environmental Sciences and Policy. Prior to that he earned his Ph.D. (1997) and Dr.Sc. (2017) in Saint Petersburg, Russia in the field of Biological Sciences (Entomology). From 1999 to 2009, Dmitry worked in different universities and research centers in Japan.
