Vitali Silitski Belarusian Alumni Scholarship

Support the Vitali Silitski Scholarship for Students from Belarus

The Vitali Silitski Belarusian Alumni Scholarship was established in 2011 to commemorate the life and work of the late Belarusian scholar Vitali Silitski (POLS '94). Five CEU students from Belarus have benefited from the scholarship so far and brought to life their independent projects in academic research or CEU community engagement. This year, Nadejda Karpenko (NATI '21) is studying at CEU thanks to alumni donations.

Eligible students should demonstrate academic excellence, commitment to social activism, and financial need. The scholarship is open to first-year Belarusian MA students in financial need with a record of community service and the potential to contribute to CEU alumni groups after graduation, around the world. The scholarship provides a monthly top-up stipend of 300 euro for the duration of the academic year. Click here for further information, including deadlines and application form.
