Hubert is from Austria. He is attending CEU thanks to the Alumni Scholarship, next|generation.
In his own words:
I graduated from the Vienna University of Economics and Business with a BSc in International Business Administration. I have also studied management at the School of Business Administration in Sao Paulo.
Before coming to CEU I worked for an intercultural school exchange program in Vienna, and later as an English and Informatics teaching assistant at a Salesian school in Panama. There I also organized adult education and fundraisers for remote areas of the country in need, as well as community and sporting events.
The intercultural project work I’ve done, and the opportunity to get involved and help are the reasons for my shift towards study of International Affairs—and the Alumni Scholarship enables me to focus on those studies.
I am convinced that we at CEU can mutually benefit from knowledge, stories and soft skills ‘collected’ on our previous journeys. I would like to give back—and simply say ‘thank you’ to the donors who made this opportunity possible.
