Students Give Back, Compete via Graduating Class Gift
Soon-to-be CEU grads have come together to say ‘thank you’ and give back to the university before they graduate this month.
For the second year in a row, from now until June 22, all students can join the Graduating Class Gift campaign. The initiative allows students to make their first, symbolic gift to CEU, in support of their academic units. Learn how to support the campaign.
The campaign seeks to introduce students – future alumni – to the concept of philanthropic giving, while fostering competition between students of the university’s various schools and departments.
The academic unit with the highest number of donations will receive special recognition at campaign’s close, the day after graduation. Department coordinators, faculty and staff are invited to encourage student participation.
Students will have the opportunity make their first gifts on Thursday, June 7, and Wednesday, June 13, from 12:00 to 13:30, as well as during graduation week at the Alumni Booth, June 20 and 21, 10:00-16:00, at Nador 15 Estratto Café.
Contributions can also be made at the Alumni Relations office (Monument Building, above Financial Aid) from 9:30-16:30, daily, and the Cash Desk, Monument Building basement, daily from 10:00-15:00. Students from Environmental Sciences and Nationalism Studies can also donate directly to their department coordinators, Krisztina Szabados and Lilla Kukor, respectively.
