Arnold graduated from Babeș-Bolyai University with a BA in religious studies. During his undergraduate studies, he also spent time at the Catholic University of Leuven, and Budapest’s Eötvös Loránd University. Interested in the relationship between religion and LGBT people, after graduation he volunteered with Lithuania’s National LGBT Rights Organization, where he was responsible for communications, administration and community service.

What’s one of your goals?

After completing my MA, I wish to continue my studies by pursuing a PhD in gender studies or religious studies.

Why did you choose GENS at CEU?

Because of the university's rich interdisciplinary curriculum, which would allow me to explore the intersection of the two academic fields that fascinate me most: gender and religious studies

What do you hope to gain from your time at CEU?

I see CEU as the next step in my academic development, therefore I wish to express my sincere gratitude to the alumni donors for making this possible!
