What should we know about you?
I founded Jarokelo.hu, a platform for Hungarian citizens to report street maintenance issues e.g. potholes or broken streetlights. It’s run by more than 20 volunteers around the country who facilitate communication between citizens and local government, working on up to 50 reports per day. It’s the most successful civic engagement intervention I’ve ever worked on.
Why do a two-year Sociology MA?
To learn more about changes going on in cities worldwide, and to focus on the history of social issues and civic participation in urban space.
What do you hope to gain here?
I feel extremely honored to study at CEU because of its academic reputation. I hope to learn much from my studies and classmates
