Tetiana Horban (IR ’20, Ukraine)

September 27, 2018

After graduating from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Institute of Journalism, Tetiana took two gap years to gain more experience in international journalism and copy writing in English. Working for the news website TSN.ua and IT Company Genesis helped her realize there still were many skills to acquire, prompting her to join the CEU IR Department.

What’s your life goal?

My aspiration in life is to get the best out of myself and the people around me. Personally, I want to make difference by reporting income inequality.

Why study International Relations at CEU?

Because this course provides a theoretical insight into disciplines that can help me grow as an international journalist.

What do you want out of your CEU time?

Apart from the diverse academic life, I expect to contribute to student community activities.
