CEU alumnus Nicu Popescu (IR MA '03, PhD '09) was recently appointed Foreign Minister of the Republic of Moldova. He has since commented extensively on the constitutional crisis in that country. See interview.
Nicu finished both his MA and PhD studies with the Department of International Relations and European Studies. He also teaches at the
