Belma Rastoder (IR '21, Bosnia and Herzegovina)

Belma is from Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina.  She graduated from Methodist University in North Carolina, USA as a top student with a dual bachelor’s degree in Political Science/IR and Applied Forensic Science. As an undergraduate, she worked as a forensic laboratory assistant, and library assistant and tutor.  She is passionate about security and international governance topics.

What’s the one thing people should know about you?

I enjoy socializing with and learning from people of different cultures and backgrounds, and I strive to make the world a better and more secure place for everyone.

Why did you choose your particular course of study?

The IR program allows me to explore and learn about all the issues I'm passionate about and teaches me the methods and ways to address those issues.

What do you hope to gain from your time at CEU?

To expand my academic knowledge, get out of my comfort zone, and experience all the diverse aspects of CEU's international community.
