Muhammad Adam (ECBS '21, Pakistan)

October 14, 2020

Muhammad is from Karachi, Pakistan.  He graduated with a BS in Economics and Mathematics in 2018 and has worked in the petroleum and textiles sectors. At CEU he will be studying MS in Finance.

What is your goal in life?

To develop a perpetual way of giving back to society. Based on my background and experience, I believe a sustainable clothing brand that is in business to contribute a percentage of its income to improve lives is one way I can do that. This is inspired by TOMS shoes, a social enterprise that provides free footwear to those in need.

Why did you choose your particular course of study at CEU?

To get core education and skillsets in finance and work my way towards a career in the financial sector. Additionally, I believe I would be better suited to promote financial inclusion in Pakistan.

What do you hope to gain from your time at CEU?

I believe exposure to diversity is not just an asset but a privilege and CEU provides that opportunity. I hope to interact and engage with people around the world at CEU, to learn and share my stories, and go back home with a global network.
