Tamar Shatberashvili (IR '22, Georgia)

Tamar is from Georgia. She earned a BA degree in International Relations at Corvinus University, Budapest. She is also a FLEX (Future Leaders Exchange Program) alumna, and has spent an academic exchange year in the U.S. She has work experience in international and local organizations in Georgia and Hungary. She currently works at Creative Caucasus, supporting the creative entrepreneurial ecosystem in Georgia and South Caucasus.

What is your goal in life?

I aspire to live life to the fullest, make a difference and encourage others to do the same.

Why did you choose your particular course of study?

IR has been the field of my interest from an early age. What drew my attention the most is CEU's wide range of theoretical and methodological approaches to emerging global challenges.

What do you hope to gain from your time at CEU?

I hope to gain broader perspectives on current international events while becoming a member of the vibrant university community.
