Elisabeth graduated in 2020 from Wellesley College with a major in French and Japanese. She then spent a year at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna, gaining a certificate in International Studies. She has worked internships at a newspaper in Mongolia, at UNFPA in Thailand, and as a technology market analyst at IDC.
What is your goal in life?
To be a "diplomat of the everyday" - connecting people, knowledge, and opportunities for a peaceful, equal world.
Why did you choose your course of study?
I believe the Masters in Public Policy degree will equip me with strong qualitative and quantitative skills to understand development and effectively combat injustice and inequality globally.
What do you hope to gain from your time at CEU?
Not only do I hope to gain deep knowledge in public policy, but I also hope to sharpen my critical thinking, learn from CEU's multicultural community, and find long-lasting friendships that inspire me and help me grow as a person.
