Ali comes from Syria. He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering in Syria and got his Master of Technology in Civil Engineering in India. Afterwards, he pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Liberal Studies. In between these degrees, he has worked as a contracting civil engineer, a research assistant, and a translator. He is seeking his Master's in Environmental Sciences and Policy at CEU.
What is your goal in life?
To help others. I have not led an easy life, but I have always been aided by someone at each point of my life. And I want to be that for other people.
Why did you choose your course of study?
I chose environmental sciences and policy because I truly care and am very passionate about the environment and how to make things better in the world.
What do you hope to gain from your time at CEU?
I hope that I gain the proper knowledge and tools with which I can equip myself to be able to help others and the world.
