What is your goal in life?
To manifest positive impact and work towards a more equitable world. As someone from a marginalized community, using my voice to advocate for the rights of each person, especially those from underrepresented and the underdeveloped communities, is what I will strive for.
Why did you choose your course of study?
Throughout my career, I have worked in various underdeveloped regions across India, and that experience has allowed me to understand how crucial it is to have a sound knowledge of the laws surrounding human rights for its effective implementation on the ground. This was a major motivator for me to decide to study human rights at CEU.
What do you hope to gain from your time at CEU?
The CEU community has time and again shown that it stands for the rights of all people, particularly in times of crisis. It is this community and solidarity that I wish to become a part of. During my time at CEU, I wish to further explore my academic potential while also engaging in real-time practical solutions to address the multitude of issues that our world faces today.
