Zeynep is from Turkey. She graduated from Middle East Technical University, International Relations Department with honors. She also minored in Philosophy at the same university. She has worked as a research assistant at the University of Bilkent, Department of Political Science. Until recently, Zeynep has been working as an EU Project Expert in the organization of Academy Culture in Turkey. At CEU, she studies in the International Relations MA program for one year.
What is the one thing people should know about you?
I always struggle to make things better for humanity, nature, and the world, and do not give up questioning and being critical about the things that appear "natural.
Why did you choose your course of study?
International Relations harbor a wide range of perspectives: multidisciplinary, holistic, contextual, and critical. That is why I think that it can provide me with sufficient tools to be a successful academic in the field.
What do you hope to gain from your time at CEU?
Being part of the CEU community will provide me a unique perspective and experience both in my professional and daily life. That is why I feel lucky.
