Unity: Alumni, Rector at President’s Reception

On Saturday, May 4 more than 30 distinguished alumni met with President and Rector Michael Ignatieff at the Budapest Marriot Hotel for a special discussion on the state of CEU, its future and the role of alumni. See photos. 

Alumnus Bodnar Wins Rule of Law Award

CEU alumnus Adam Bodnar (LEGS'01), Poland’s independent ombudsman and his team have been honored with the 2019 Rule of Law Award by The World Justice Project for their efforts to stem the country’s backsliding on judicial independence and fundamental rights. Congratulations, Adam!

CEU Alumni Meet for D.C. Happy Hour

By now it’s a CEU tradition. More than 30 alumni and friends met for a fun annual Happy Hour in on Friday, March 29 in Washington D.C. (photos below)

Held at the Mission Restaurant and Bar, in the capital’s Dupont Circle, the event was hosted by Serge Sych (IRES '97, LEGS '99), CEU's Vice President for Enrollment, Careers and Alumni Relations.
