The purpose of the Phonathon, CEU’s annual alumni calling campaign, is to inform you about the latest news from your alma mater and your academic unit, invite you to the Alumni Reunion Weekend and inform you about the ways you can get involved and support CEU. If you decide to participate in this year’s calling campaign, you may withdraw or ask for your personal data to be corrected at any time. If at a future moment you decide that you no longer wish to receive communications from CEU, or that you would like your data to be corrected, you may contact the Alumni Relations Office directly at the following email address: email@example.com.

CEU will not distribute to any third parties any of the personal data you provide to us unless you explicitly authorize us to do so . When you participate in CEU Phonathon 2019 we collect personal data exclusively upon your specific consent as granted by you at the beginning of the call and only for the purposes described here. This data includes: Name, Educational Status, Country of Residence, Address, Contact Information (phone, email), Primary Citizenship, Employment Status (including decision to pursue further study). Additionally, we collect information regarding the Name and Location of your Employer and Job Title. Regarding further studies, we collect the Name and Location of your Study Institution and the Name of the Department in which you are studying.
The contact information and information regarding employment status / further study that is gathered via the calling campaign is recorded in CEU's alumni database. The contact information gathered via the phonathon is used to support alumni outreach and engagement activities managed by CEU's Alumni Relations Office (including, specifically, alumni E-News, surveys, alumni and CEU events invitations, information about volunteering opportunities, promotion of alumni benefits and services, tailored fundraising appeals and the like). The employment information gathered via the calling campaign is used by CEU's Career Services Office when reporting, anonymously, on the career outcomes of CEU graduates and to support tracking of alumni career progression managed by CEU's Career Services Office.
