On 11 December 2009, CEU and the Hungarian Embassy in London hosted the biggest ever off-campus reunion for CEU alumni & friends. The event gathered nearly 80 guests, rekindling old friendships, making new connections, and greeting the holiday season together in style with a cheerful soiree of traditional Hungarian wine and delicious food. The warm, holiday spirit extended also to the global CEU family as the evening's generous contributions to the Alumni Campaign 2009/10 helped bring the total amount collected so far to over USD 20,000! In addition to those 20 gifts made on the spot, the campaign received 15 pledges, whose fulfillment will help numerous talented students in financial need to enroll in CEU next year and truly make a difference in the university.
We wish to thank all campaign donors, whose diligent support has changed the futures of CEU's many present and future talented students! All contributors to this year's campaign will find their names on the Honorary Donors' List.
