On July 17, 2010 the Armenian Alumni Chapter held the group's traditional *mid-summer Happy Hour*, which brought together three generations fo CEU: alumni, fresh graduates and prospective students. The occasion was to at once welcome returning graduates and give a pre-departure orientation to newly accepted students.
The session was hosted by CEU alumni from 2004, who gave the event a different ambiance of ease and dynamism. The group brainstormed some ideas for the Small Grants Program 2010-2011 and future students took advantage of the special information corner, full of handy materials about the university and student life in Budapest, as well as a contact sheet of alumni listed by CEU department. Last but not least, participants filled up a jar of Reasons Why We Love CEU and contributed to 80 Challenge Campaign.
It was a fantastic get-together that proved infinitely useful for the newly accepted students and alumni who have recently got back in the loop. A small group of enthusiasts carried the evening on with a jovial mid-summer party.
