Over 50 CEU alumni and friends attended the CEU Alumni Reunion in New York City on November 17, 2010! Sharing in the warm and lively atmosphere with colleagues and old friends at the Hungarian Consulate General hall, guests had the special opportunity to meet with CEU Rector John Shattuck personally and discuss his plans for the future of the University. Also present were Ambassador Károly Dán, Hungarian Consul General in the U.S., CEU Director of Development, Brian Porter, and Director of Alumni and Corporate Relations, Serge Sych (IRES ’97, LEGS ’99), who were there to welcome CEU graduates living and working in the U.S. and update them on the latest exciting developments for the global alumni community.

This being the academic year's first alumni reunion in East Coast U.S., alumni and friends successfully raised up to 1,500 USD in gifts to the 2010/11 Alumni Campaign, in addition to more pledges and various means of alumni support for the University and its students.
