On June 21, 2011 the Armenian Alumni Chapter held the already traditional *post-arrival and pre-departure orientation/reunion* at “Achajour” cafe: one of the most beloved locations for residents of Yerevan and guests with its active cultural atmosphere. The event brought together three generations: alumni from far back, as well as some newly graduated alumni and prospective students.
All the participants were updated on the Alumni Leadership Forum, the 20th Anniversary Alumni Reunion in Budapest and more CEU 20th Anniversary events that took place in Budapest in May 2011. They also received some handy informative guides and brochures about CEU's 20th Anniversary year. Meanwhile, the core group of active alumni from the CEU Alumni Chapter in Armenia received certificates of recognition and gratitude for their outstanding contribution to the CEU Alumni & Friends Association.
The event allowed the participants to meet and expand their network among CEU alumni from earlier years and hear their stories and success achieved following the experiences at CEU, to welcome the returned graduates and to provide useful information for their job searches and career development, and to assist the accepted students’ group with information on travel and visa arrangements, academic and social life while at CEU.
The Armenian alumni wish all of you a pleasant summer and warm thanks to the local OSI Office for their kind financial contribution to the event!
