Photos and more from this year's last 20th Anniversary alumni reunion in New York City (Dec 6, 2011)

On December 6, 2011, CEU alumni and friends joined CEU President and Rector John Shattuck in New York City to send off CEU's 20th anniversary year in the company of new and old friends. The event gathered more than 40 guests, who had a chance to meet the Rector personally and network with friends and professionals from the region.
Other special guests at the event were H. E. Ambassador Károly Dán, Consul General of Hungary, and Wolfgang Reinicke, Dean of CEU School of Public Policy & International Affairs. Their talks touched upon the value of the global relationships facilitated by the CEU alumni network, and the Dean shared his vision for the CEU School of Public Policy & International Affairs, founded in 2011. After the speeches, the floor was opened up for questions and the guests got to grab the microphone and share some highlights of their lives after graduating from CEU.
A number of alumni and friends there also made gifts to the CEU Alumni Campaign, in support of student scholarships at CEU and the sustainable growth of the university. These donations have brought us that much closer to achieving our 20th anniversary alumni fundraising target of USD 100,000.
