CEU alumni in Moscow used Skype to overcome their country’s vastness and connect with new students for two pre-departure orientations on Friday, August 3.
The online sessions lasted several hours, during which time alumni answered students’ questions and shared details about life and study in Budapest.
Alumni leaders used Skype as a means to reach students living in Russia’s many time zones. The sessions were recorded, with participants’ consent, for those who could not participate.
Pre-departure orientations are a great way for new students to get valuable, practical advice from CEU alumni. The Alumni Relations and Career Services Department encourages alumni groups around the world to sponsor similar activities. To learn how, write us.
