More than 50 CEU alumni and friends joined us for last Friday’s reunion in London. It was a great opportunity to catch up with friends and colleagues and to share in the connection afforded us by being part of the CEU community.

We were fortunate to be joined by a trio of distinguished speakers. Janos Csak, Hungary’s ambassador to the U.K., opened the ceremony and spoke of his experience with the CEU Business School. CEU President and Rector John Shattuck gave an update on the university, while former IRES professor Lord William Wallace offered a sobering but motivational commentary on the state of Europe and the world - and the important role of CEU alumni therein.

More than ten attendees made donations or pledges to support their alma mater, raising more than $7,000 for the Alumni Campaign. Thank you all very much, and we hope to see you in May at the Budapest reunion gala. For more pictures of the event, visit our Flikr page.
