Nearly 20 CEU alumni met in Yerevan, Armenia on Thursday, April 25. Among those in attendance was CEU Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Liviu Matei, who is visiting the country and provided alumni with all the latest from Budapest.
Also, Aida Ghazaryan announced that she will be moving to Almaty, Kazakhstan, and can no longer serve as leader of the Armenian Alumni Chapter. A new chapter leader is currently being sought.
The majority of those in attendance also donated to the CEU Alumni Campaign, which supports the future of CEU through scholarship assistance for students, departmental support, campus redevelopment and student emergency aid.
Best of luck to Aida, and thanks to everyone who attended and made the meeting a success! Check out their Facebook group for all the latest on the Armenian alumni chapter.
