Last week the Alumni Relations & Career Services team helped welcome the approximately 600 new students beginning their studies at CEU with a simple but important message: ask us.
As part of Orientation Week, the ARCS team briefed new students on alumni and career services, welcomed this year's Alumni Scholarship Recipients and hosted its annual Alumni Teahouse, part of CEU's Welcome Afternoon, where students were offered tea, coffee and snacks and encouraged to ask alumni about CEU life. Themed "We've Been There: Ask An Alum," the Teahouse allowed students to write their questions regarding study, career issues and Budapest life to alumni. Those questions will be answered by alumni at this year's first 'Simply Networking' event, on Thursday, Sept. 19. All students and alumni in Budapest are invited!
