Budapest Alumni & Friends have had a busy month, meeting with old friends and welcoming new members of the CEU community!
September started with the Alumni Relations & Career Services team hosting this year's Alumni Teahouse, during CEU's Welcome Afternoon, on Friday, Sept. 6.
New students were encouraged to write their questions about life at CEU and in Budapest for alumni to answer. And write they did. More than 60 students submitted questions on everything from academic concerns, job prospects and local nightlife for alumni to answer.
Those answers came on Thursday, Sept. 19 during this academic year's first "Simply Networking" event. Themed "Discover Budapest," it drew more than 100 alumni and students to CEU for an evening of socialization, networking and comaraderie. (Pics here.)
Four alumni made presentations about life in Budapest, from networking and language fundamentals to where [and how] to have fun in the Hungarian capital. The night also included Q&A, live music and prizes from the Alumni Relations & Career Services team.
