What a boost! CEU Board of Trustees member Richard Blum has pledged $50,000 in matching gifts to CEU's Alumni Campaign.
Blum, who joined the board last summer, announced his matching gift as a challenge to CEU alumni and students to support the university via the campaign, now approaching its final weeks. Blum pledged to match alumni gifts on a dollar-for-dollar basis to the $50,000 limit.
This comes as especially welcome news to the campaign, which must raise approximately $32,000 by year's end to reach its goal of $500,000. The Alumni Campaign provides funding for student scholarships - 22 for the 2013-14 academic year alone - as well as departmental support, campus renovation and more.
