Jacob is from Canada. He is studying at CEU thanks to the Alumni Scholarship, next|generation.
In his own words:
I graduated with honors in 2014 from Acadia University with a BA in Politics and Philosophy.
Volunteer service has always been a big part of my life. Recently, I completed an internship as a research assistant with the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative in New Delhi, India, working with that organization’s database on LGBTQ legislation around the world. In the summer of 2014 I interned with the Canadian Center for the Victims of Torture.
I am grateful to receive the Alumni Scholarship, and eager to contribute meaningfully to the community thanks to this generous award. I hope to one day pass on the favor to another generation of future leaders.
