Nikolina is from Bosnia-Herzegovina. She is studying at CEU thanks to the Alumni Scholarship, next|generation.
In her own words:
In 2012 I earned a BA in International Studies with a concentration in International Economics at the University of Richmond, in the United States.
During my BA studies I volunteered to assist various vulnerable populations in Guatemala, India, New Zealand, the U.S. and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
I believe that one must understand the broader historical / political / cultural context of the community one works with. Thus, after graduation I spent two years working for the Perpetuum Mobile Institute for Youth and Community Development, monitoring implementation of youth policies in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
I believe an MA in International Relations will help me reach my professional goals. I am grateful to the alumni donors for helping me become a member of the CEU community.
