Rohan is from Australia. He is studying at CEU thanks to the Alumni Scholarship, next|generation.
In his own words:
I studied law and politics in my undergraduate degrees, and for the past three years have worked as a mediator and community legal educator in Darwin, Australia.
As a legal educator I provided training in remote Aboriginal communities, with the aim of increasing their understanding of the law and increasing their control over their legal and political environment. During this period I also did volunteer support and advocacy work for asylum seekers in indefinite detention.
I was drawn to the Masters of Public Administration program at the School of Public Policy due to its focus on global issues, human rights and transparency in governance. I am confident it will serve me well my future career in policy and human rights.
I am grateful to the alumni donors for making it possible to study at CEU, and I am looking forward to learning from and engaging with the alumni community.
