In her own words:
In 2012 I earned my BA in Political Science and Public Administration from the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
During my undergraduate years I served as Secretary General in the student organization Conference Mariano Otero, promoting public debate on social, economic and political issues in Mexico. I also performed fieldwork for the National Commission on Human Rights regarding indigenous rights violations and a 1997 massacre in Chiapas, and helped draft public policy recommendations to prevent future abuses.
I also worked for Mexico City’s Public Administration to help find solutions to pressing issues such as water supply, poverty, medical services, public transportation and others, and helped create the Mexico City Development Program.
I chose CEU’s School of Public Policy to strengthen my public administration and policy skills from a human rights and comparative perspective. I am very grateful to the alumni donors for this opportunity.
