CEU alumna Diana Ursachi (POLS ’07) recently won this year’s award for Entrepreneurship from the French Chamber of Commerce in Romania for her “Guideacademy” project. The project includes both a guide for those interesting in work and study abroad, as well as training and consulting services for companies to better retain Millennials in their workforces.
Diana said the inspiration for producing the guide arose from her experiences at CEU, as well as Williamette University, in Oregon, USA, where she obtained her education thanks to support from the Open Society Foundations and the Fullbright Program.
After graduating from CEU Diana worked for the European Commission and Deloitte Consulting in Brussels. She has since relocated to her native Romania where she advises students and companies. For more info, check Guideacademy’s website and this short video.
