CEU's mission of promoting safe and open societies is more crucial than ever. And alumni and students around the world have stepped up to support that mission.

Last week, alumni came together to raise nearly $7,000 in support of CEU in the first seven days of the Blum Matching Gift Challenge.

The challenge, which doubles alumni gifts thanks to a recent major contribution, has sparked a competition to determine which alumni, based on school or departmental affiliation, are the most active supporters of CEU.

So far, more than 60 alumni have contributed, with alumni from the Department of International Relations taking the lead, with 13 individual donors. Check full stats.

Last Friday nearly 300 students and alumni on campus participated in CEU's third-annual Philanthropy Awareness Day, raising more than $1,200 through a baked goods sale, with proceeds going to support Alumni Scholarships, as well as Migration Aid and meals for local homeless people.

Many thanks to CEU's alumni, students and friends supporting their University!
