Torotcoi First Alumna to Tutor at Roma Access Programs

Alumna and doctoral student Simona Torotcoi (DPP MA '13) recently joined Roma Access Programs to teach Introduction to Public Policy II during the the Winter 2016 term, making her the first CEU alumna to tutor there. 

In academic year 2011-12 she was a student in CEU's Roma Access Programs. She took tutoring classes in public policy, then she completed her master's degree in the former Department of Public Policy. Choosing the Higher Education and Management track, she worked on the case of Romanian Roma students' participation in higher education.

Simona also has an MS in Public Administration from Leiden University, and is currently doing research on the implementation of the Bologna Process at CEU's Doctoral School of Political Science, Public Policy, and International Relations.

"There is nothing more exciting than teaching a course I have taken, in a program I was part of, a program which has played an important role in my career," she said of her new position.
