More than a dozen CEU alumni and friends met for a lively summer meetup in Skopje, North Macedonia on Wednesday, June 5.
Gathering at the Public Room bar, the event drew a wide spectrum of CEU alumni. It was also the first alumni meetup in Skopje hosted by CEU Alumni Relations Head Nena Grceva (GENS ’05), herself a native of Skopje.
Attendees were from graduating classes 1993 to 2018, and many are making an impact in NGOs, academia and business. Many attendees have also supported CEU as alumni donors and volunteers.
Alumni got nostalgic, sharing stories of the university’s former Prague campus, and its tight-knit students and faculty. They also talked CEU’s future and the upcoming Vienna campus. But the constant theme was the life changing effect of the CEU experience has had on all their lives.
