Eylem Nazlı Tasdemir (GENS ’17) has over six years of professional experience across the private sector, civil society, and higher education, where she initiated and organized large-scale, cause-oriented projects, and collaborated with a wide array of internal and external stakeholders. Prior to moving to the Netherlands in October 2020, Eylem worked for four years as the Senior Program Officer at Columbia Global Centers | Istanbul, one of nine global centers of Columbia University established to address global challenges, and advance knowledge and its exchange. In addition to her MA in Gender Studies from CEU, Eylem spent a semester at University of Vienna and received her B.A. degree with Honors in History from Bogazici University, spending an exchange semester at SUNY Binghamton.
Why does she volunteer for CEU?
I would like to strengthen the bonds of the fellowship, to sustain the connection between alumni and the CEU, which offered me numerous opportunities and valuable skills, and lifetime friendships.
