CEU alumna and visiting faculty member Yulia Karpova (HIST, MA '09, PhD '15) was recently awarded a Marie Curie Individual Fellowship. The host institution is the School of Communication and Culture at Aarhus University.

Diana Urge-Vorsatz Elected Vice Chair of Working Group III of IPCC

Diana Urge-Vorsatz (ENVS '92), professor in CEU’s Department of Environmental Sciences and Policy and director of the Center for Climate Change and Sustainable Energy Policy (3CSEP) has been elected vice chair of Working Group III of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the the UN body tasked with assessing climate science.

Alumna Ursachi Wins Chamber Award

CEU alumna Diana Ursachi (POLS ’07) recently won this year’s award for Entrepreneurship from the French Chamber of Commerce in Romania for her “Guideacademy” project.  The project includes both a guide for those interesting in work and study abroad, as well as training and consulting services for companies to better retain Millennials in their workforces.
