The Parliament of Kosovo recently elected CEU alumnus Jeton Mehmeti (DPP ’09, Kosovo) to the country’s Independent Media Commission.  

Jeton was elected in January to the commission, a seven-member regulatory body responsible for licensing and monitoring broadcast media withing Kosovo. 

CEU Professor and alumna Renata Uitz (LEGS S.J.D ’01, LL.M ’97, Hungary) was appointed as co-director of the CEU Democracy Institute in Budapest, starting February 1. Congratulations to Renata! See full story.
