We're just days - you could say 'hours' - away from this year's Alumni Reunion Weekend, and we're pretty excited. We've got more programs, more exciting events and, most importantly, more alumni participating than ever before and that's fantastic.

Record Response for Reunion Gala 2014

Tickets for this year's CEU Alumni Reunion Gala sold out on Monday, May 5, capping a record-breaking sales season. Approximately 300 CEU alumni, friends and faculty are slated to attend the event, which will be held at Budapest's 5-star Kempinski Hotel Corvinus. (Check the guest list here.) This year's Gala will be paired with CEU's annual Spring Ball, which will take place aboard the Danube river boat Europa.

Record alumni support for Spring Phonathon 2014

Spring Phonathon 2014 has been one for the record books! During the eight-week campaign, which concluded earlier this month, we contacted nearly 2,000 CEU alumni around the world, who pledged more than $20,000 in support of CEU.

What a night!

On March 26 nearly 30 alumni & friends in the U.K. joined us at London’s Hungarian Cultural Centre for a reunion hosted by CEU Alumni Relations VP Serge Sych (IRES ’97, LEGS ’99) and honored alumna and major CEU supporter Borbála Czakó (IMC ’90).

The evening was highlighted by a discussion with Borbála, former Hungarian ambassador to the U.K. and current Global Partner at Ernst & Young in London, about careers in the business, government and non-profit sectors.

We’ll seek answers at our March 26 London reunion, when alumna and major CEU supporter Borbála Czakó (IMC ’90) will discuss careers in the business, government and nonprofit sectors.
