Estefanía Rubiniak (SPP '18, Argentina)

October 5, 2017

Estefania is studying at CEU this year, thanks to the CEU Alumni Scholarship.

In her own words:

Before CEU I studied Political Science at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and worked for Argentina’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship, and for Argentina’s Embassy to the United States in Washington, D.C.

I began volunteering in Argentina in 2012 and continued while living in Washington, DC., when I joined the Radcliffe Room Ministry for the homeless. We provided breakfast and clothes for people living on the streets as well as a place to be listened to. Being the only Spanish speaking volunteer, I was able to serve a group of non-English speaking Latinos, helping them access essential services and making them feel part of the Ministry.

I believe caring for others makes a difference. I strongly believe CEU will provide the tools to bring my passion for public service to life, and I wish to thank the Alumni Community for supporting my education! Thank you, donors!

Check out Estefania's blog on how the CEU Community Comes Together for Philanthropy Week and pays it forward by sharing their pratical skills and baking talents.
