Elena Ryabova, a CEU alumna, joined the University in September 2024 as the Head of the Partnerships, Philanthropy, and Alumni Relations Office. She is responsible for developing and executing strategies to secure financial support, cultivating relationships with donors and alumni, and managing campaigns and initiatives to enhance the university's philanthropic and engagement goals.
An accomplished fundraising professional, she brings over 15 years of experience in fundraising and donor relations with both U.S. and international funders. Elena has worked with international organizations and educational and arts nonprofits in Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and the United States. Originally from Kyrgyzstan, Elena graduated in 2002 from CEU with a master’s degree in political science.
