Korlan joined the Alumni Relations team in October 2022 and is responsible for alumni data, alumni mailing list, and alumni services. Korlan also serves as a link between CEU departments and the alumni community. An MPA graduate, she has been working in the field of international higher education in universities and with nonprofits that support and fund higher education initiatives and programs internationally. Prior to CEU, Korlan worked at the Institute of International Education managing a fellowship program for a Pontifical University in Rome, Italy and with the Higher Education Support Program at the Open Society Foundations in Budapest. In her home country Kazakhstan, she worked at KIMEP University and the British Council Almaty.
She holds a Master’s in Public Affairs from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
