CEU Alumnae Among Hungary’s "Most Influential Women"

Two CEU alumnae were recently named to the prestigious list of “Most Influential Women in Hungary” by Forbes Hungary.

Alumna Borbála Czakó  (BUSI ’90) was named ninth in the award’s business category. Among CEU’s earliest graduates, Borbála is president of the Hungarian Business Leaders Forum and a board member of Mezõhegyes Nemzeti Ménesbirtok és Tangazdaság, a horse breeding and agriculture organization. From 2006 to 2010 she served as Hungary’s ambassador to the U.K. See her Forbes profile here.

Alumna Diána Ürge-Vorsatz (ENVS’93) was also named to the Forbes list. A professor with CEU’s Department of Environmental Sciences and Policy, Diána is Vice-Chair of the Nobel Prize-winning Working Group III of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). See her Forbes profile here.
