Alumnus Cutty Named Among Canada’s Top 50 CEOs

CEU Alumnus Ashwin Cutty (IMM ‘04), President & CEO of WeUsThem Inc, was recently named among Atlantic Canada’s Top 50 CEOs by the Atlantic Business Magazine.

The awards consider awardees' corporate, community and industry involvement. Company growth, response to managerial changes, and other factors are also considered.

Alumni Meetup in Amsterdam

CEU alumni in Amsterdam, NL had a small but lively reunion on Tuesday, May 14. The event was hosted by Serge Sych (IRES ’97, LEGS ’99) CEU Vice President for Enrollment, Careers and Alumni Relations, at Café de Jaren.

The informal happy hour featured lively discussion about the latest CEU news, including the upcoming Vienna campus opening and the university’s new “2025” strategy. It was also a great chance for alumni to share what they’re up to and, not surprisingly, represent our community, if in microcosm.

Leadership Forum Highlights Alumni Impact

The backbone of CEU’s alumni family are those grads who work hard to keep their fellow grads worldwide connected with our university.

From May 2-3 we welcomed them back to campus for Alumni Leadership Forum. Part of Alumni Reunion Weekend, this year’s forum drew nearly 20 volunteers and chapter leaders for two days focused on the art of community building and giving back.

CEU’s alumni family is united. As one.

That was certainly the impression during this year’s Alumni Reunion Weekend, CEUone, when more than 400 alumni from around the world returned to campus to reunite from May 2 to 4. Events ranged from festive and lighthearted to inspirational. But all emphasized the connectedness and loyalty of CEU’s growing alumni community.
