Zhuldyz Zhunussova (IR ’17, Kazakhstan)

November 4, 2016

Zhuldyz is studying at CEU this year, thanks to the supporters of the CEU Alumni Scholarship.

In her own words:

I have always believed that, to contribute to a peaceful world, I have to be the change. After studying at an American high school, I received a scholarship from Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Education and Science to attend Pittsburg State University, where I participated in the International Knowledge and Experience program.

I have volunteered in numerous projects in Kazakhstan and the U.S., and was honored to receive a recognition letter from the U.S. Department of State for completing more than 100 hours of community service. Now, I’m eager to study at CEU and to apply knowledge gained to make a positive impact on the communities I serve.

Words are insufficient to express my gratitude to the alumni donors, who have helped make my dream come true.
